On Saturday night I took my eldest out to see “Capitalism” the latest film by Michael Moore. Now Moore has his detractors and I am not going to go into their complaints here about demagogy and the use of images that don’t correspond to the reality being presented, but one thing he does rather well is illustrates the excesses that have brought the American Dream to a crashing fall for many people in the States and all around the World.

Being a typical entrepreneur and not taking my own advice re not working now and again, I have spent much of the afternoon writing out a business plan, or as most people know it totally making up a bunch of BS and hoping it hangs together into something that an investor may be interested in.
“I’m sorry, we’ve just changed all the policies around that, you’ll have to call back in a few weeks” said the person at the Spanish embassy, promptly hanging up.
Great. I should be used to this by now, as it seems every time I get to grips with some aspect of the big move to Spain, someone changes the rules back in Spain!
