CFT is an acronym for Critical Focus Time. When I am creating content for this blog or any of the others I have, when I am going through the sales process with a client I can maybe consider that CFT, when I am writing, when I am making a video, making audio or doing anything that makes the online presence greater then that is critical focus time.
I decided from a very young age that I didn’t want to live in the UK and Spain seemed a rather natural place to come and live as it was close enough to what I used to call home to not feel too isolated yet exotic enough to be different.

I have had an interesting eye opener this morning which has made me look at my projects through the eyes of another of course. I was sent to a website for an article about Spanish Property demolitions and it was a newspaper based in Andalucia. The article was OK, nothing spectacular of course but OK.
My writing varies from the awful (You may well have noticed) to the sublime in my not so very humble opinion (You may well not have noticed). It is opinionated and the grammar although usually Ok sometimes leaves a little to be desired. However I make sure that I get it out there and as a result there is a lot of content that goes on to this blog and others. However writing is not the only content that I make. I make newsletters, audios, video, photo galleries and a whole lot more with the idea of getting better at all of them.
If you have never written down your goals then you haven’t lived. The waking up every day knowing that the day before you just didn’t get any closer to where you wanted to be and therefore giving up on them… Oh no that is not what I wanted to say.
One of the things that everyone who is going to get involved in being an entrepreneur needs to recognise these days is there is a huge likelihood that the business you deal in will spend much of its time and efforts on the web. A totally offline web business these days is very difficult to maintain and also difficult to leverage.

It is estimated that more than half of the searches done on Google daily are unique. ie not everyone is searching for Justin Bieber, although according to trending topics in Twitter it may seem that way. As I work in real estate I will give an example from that. Valencia Property may be a general search term but “3 bed townhouse near the beach in Valencia” may well get you a very much better result. (The Google results are in red.)
Hello, my name is Graham and I am an activityholic. I was asked the question at the weekend, what are your hobbies? After stopping laughing I had a few thoughts but the first was the following.
I suppose that in whatever business you are in you always have that one unhappy customer who you cannot please whatever you do. They suck your time and however you overdeliver they are still not happy. Giving an inch and taking a hell of a lot more than a mile is their mantra. How would it be if you could at least find what they are posting about you online and control that too by putting out fires before they develop.

I have been thinking about how things have changed in my life recently and realised something that I have known intuitively all along but maybe hadn’t put all of the things together into a coherent whole. Now I can’t remember the exact percentage but I believe that Woody Allen once said that 90% of success was just turning up.
As an entrepreneur I have said before that you need leverage. You cannot do everything yourself, there is just so much to do. Therefore I use a combination of tools and outsourcing to make the best of the available time I have.
