As I mentioned in my previous post, we have a new book out “The Secrets to Working and Making a Living in Spain” which we are hoping will be a best seller over a long period of time. To this effect we decided to eschew the now infamous internet marketing style product launch, wham bam thank you man and onto the next product, and go for the drip feed approach to launching a book.
First you earn the trust of your clients then you earn their friends. For years in my real estate business I have been looking long term, looking to give an excellent service in return for respect, excellent word of mouth reputation and possible referrals. The payback comes in what is the lifetime value of a client to me or any other business.
Sunday morning and I am cursed by options, not to mention two small children who cannot decide what they want to do.
Being a typical entrepreneur and not taking my own advice re not working now and again, I have spent much of the afternoon writing out a business plan, or as most people know it totally making up a bunch of BS and hoping it hangs together into something that an investor may be interested in.
I gave my first conference in Spanish last week. The event was the Foro Luis Vives in Valencia and it is a month long event aimed at University students to give them a start in the World of digital media and communication.

I have just written a guest post on Birds on the Blog again about how to avoid the penalties that the Google Panda algorithm change will confer on websites of low quality. However the best news of course is that Panda rhymes with Uganda

If you have never read “Think and Grow Rich”, “How to Win Friends and Influence People” and various other self help books you might not know about the Mastermind Process. If you have you can probably tell me more about it than I know. However for those who are not aware of how a mastermind group works and the dynamics of it you would probably be justified in reading and inwardly digesting this post.
I am currently working on a project with two other guys living in Spain because they choose to not because they are Spanish. We met in November at a conference in wet, cold Manchester and brought the thoughts back to the warmer climes of the Mediterranean to mull things over.
