School Holiday Starts

As I write this I have a half naked 5 year old playing on the Wii nearby and a 4 year old just getting up. My 18 year old is bringing her cases down for her holiday in Mallorca and the house is a total tip after a weekend of parties for the 4 year old’s birthday on Saturday, and birthday party on Sunday.

Work gets a bit more difficult as I now need to hide in the house to get things done. Overdubbing videos in a quiet place might well be more difficult so if you hear any noise in the background then you may pick out fights between the younger ones, recalcitrant teenagers, that will be next week as she is away this week, things crashing and banging onto the floor and various other distractions as Daddy’s presence is required.

I think I will have to take advantage of the times when everyone is out to get things moving. Writing this using the Pomodoro method described previously on this thread gets more difficult too as my capacity for 25 minutes of undisturbed time gets less. My home office is going to be retaken from a spare bedroom although what I will do from the 15th when we have visitors is beyond me.

PS This only lasts for just over two months in Spain!!!
