If you keep doing the same thing you keep getting the same results right? Erm, well not exactly. If that were the case then most companies would continue to get bigger and stronger for all time. Sometimes what you have previously done doesn’t work.
In property up to 2006 Valencia Property worked well, really well. Then the market fell off a cliff and whatever was done didn’t seem to work. I realised I had just been riding a wave and that really anyone could have sold property, there was nothing special about the company. Things now are going very well and have been for a couple of years with clients coming in from all over the world but I feel a need to continue innovating and changing things.
In the last year we have moved into the Chinese market, we have just made the first steps into the Russian market and now we are looking at various other countries too.
However the big change is coming up. We are producing a magazine. (Humph I can hear you say, so what?)
Well the magazine is just iPad based. It is specifically designed to be enjoyed on the Apple iPad, the most successful consumer device ever built with 67 million units sold in just two years, and it will be a multimedia product playing property and lifestyle videos directly in the platform and presenting properties in a different way to people who have buying power, ie have the money to buy an iPad and therefore are more likely to be able to buy property too.
It will be a subscription based magazine allowing us to find out exactly who is really interested in buying property in Spain and matching those clients with the best property deals all around Spain. The question must be of course is the Spanish Property Market still alive? Let’s face it with all of the bad news coming out of Spain and the Eurozone you may doubt it. However you would be seriously wrong. As I have said in a previous post about “Fishing in the Wrong Pond” if you are in the right place then the market is more than just alive, it is vibrant.
Anyway we are now waiting on “finessing” the magazine with the links, the videos, the sign up forms and more and within a few weeks we hope to have it in the Apple store for you to download onto your iPad. The first issue will be free and there will be discounts available for subscribing. Individual issues will be priced at $4.99. The content is superb and the properties well chosen to make sure that subscribers get the best offers presented to them on a regular basis. There will also be a new Facebook page for subscribers to go to where the best deals will be posted as they come out too.
All rather exciting for me at least and a leap forward into yet another change of how property gets presented and how potential Spanish property buyers find what they want to buy.
