So it’s goodbye to our old friend Bavotasan theme and welcome to the new theme using a different colour scheme and a totally different look. Why have I changed the theme on the site? Simply put the upgrade to WordPress 3.0 and the theme I was using being upgraded at the same time just made things totally unworkable.
I chose this one because it does what I wanted it to do very well. It has the sticky post at the top and then you can easily see the latest posts both above the sticky introduction and then with an excerpt below. It allows me to put things in the sidebars which may be relevant to the reader and is quite easy to arrange in the back office. If you like the theme and want to grab a copy of it for your WordPress blog and then mess about with it just go to the Calotropis theme page here. It is totally free and as you will see there can be made to look very different.
