Why Spain Is Still A Great Place To Live

With the news coming out of Spain at the moment anyone might be forgiven for thinking that Spain is not a great place to live. Certainly for a lot of people things are hard at the moment in Spain and it doesn’t look like there is any chance of a quick economic recovery especially when you consider we probably have the most inept government ever seen on the face of the planet. Without an economic recovery things will continue to be difficult on the jobs front without a shadow of a doubt. However Spain can still be a great place to live for a variety of reasons as long as you have the basics in place

 

“I’m sorry, we’ve just changed all the policies around that, you’ll have to call back in a few weeks” said the person at the Spanish embassy, promptly hanging up.

Great. I should be used to this by now, as it seems every time I get to grips with some aspect of the big move to Spain, someone changes the rules back in Spain!

 
A Bit Of Background On Me And Spain

I decided from a very young age that I didn’t want to live in the UK and Spain seemed a rather natural place to come and live as it was close enough to what I used to call home to not feel too isolated yet exotic enough to be different.
