As you will know if you have been following the blog I am co-writing a book at the moment. Tentatively called “The Bootstrapping Book – How to start up a business from nothing” (Catchy title I know) it comprises ten chapters with various ideas for getting started in your own business without having to buy stock, rent a place to conduct your business or, in essence, put money down.
This morning I spent a lot of time editing four videos. Videos are a great way of getting your message out about something because more and more people are doing their searches in YouTube rather than through Google and because people’s attention span is often longer when the visual stimuli is interesting so not only the original video but also the editing is important.
I walk into a room and I start telling you how great I am, how I can solve all of your problems and that my company is the best. You tell me to go forth and multiply or when you finally get away from me you tell everyone else what a total pr**k I am.
Ed Dale has put up a new course telling you how to start up from scratch online and make yourself your piggy bank of $1000 so you can actually do something bigger and better and eventually leave the day job. Sounds too good to be true right. It’s not Read on.
CFT is an acronym for Critical Focus Time. When I am creating content for this blog or any of the others I have, when I am going through the sales process with a client I can maybe consider that CFT, when I am writing, when I am making a video, making audio or doing anything that makes the online presence greater then that is critical focus time.
